What do you think about Mattel and Nickelodeon's quest to launch a Dora the Explorer doll with a new, fashionable "tweenage" look for girls age 5 and older?
The changes to Dora's wardrobe and overall look is too grown-up for the show's main audience.
Allowing Dora to "grow up" with her viewers will help my daughter adjust to life's changes.
The preschool-aimed show will continue, so who cares if the companies add a doll to the brand?
